The Made New Foundation did not begin in a conference room or a grant application. It was born in the most unlikely of places — behind prison walls — among three men who refused to let incarceration be the end of their story.

Rafael, Sithy, and Major Button were all incarcerated together, and each had quietly become a leader within that world. They were different in their gifts but unified in their purpose: to lift people up, to build something that lasted, to imagine a life beyond the walls that surrounded them.
